This promotion ended on 23 January 2026. The terms below are retained for reference only.
A 10% discount was available on eligible items ordered using Menuva at participating venues at the University of Warwick (the "Promotion"). By participating in the Promotion, you agreed to be bound by these terms and any additional instructions reasonably issued by a participating venue.
1. Overview
1.1 A 10% discount is available on eligible items ordered using Menuva at participating venues at the University of Warwick (the "Promotion").
1.2 Participating venues:
- District @ Warwick Business School
- Coffee Lab @ Social Sciences
- Coffee Lab @ Oculus
- Coffee Lab @ Library
- Coffee Lab @ IBRB
1.3 The Promotion runs from 12 January 2026 to 23 January 2026 (inclusive), during each venue's normal opening hours (the "Promotion Period").
1.4 Participation, availability, and redemption are determined by each venue. Menuva does not guarantee participation or continuous availability.
1.5 By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and any additional instructions reasonably issued by a participating venue.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Promotion is open to all customers purchasing at a participating venue during the Promotion Period.
2.2 The discount applies only when ordering using Menuva, subject to the redemption requirements in Section 5.
3. Nature of the Promotion
3.1 Menuva is a non-commercial student pilot operated solely for educational and accessibility-testing purposes.
3.2 Menuva does not process payments for this Promotion; all payments are made directly between you and the participating venue using the venue's own payment channels and systems.
3.3 Menuva does not collect personal data for this Promotion beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the app (if any) and any such processing is carried out in line with Menuva's general privacy information.
3.4 Menuva is not a food provider and does not prepare, sell, or supply any products. All items are prepared and sold exclusively by participating venues.
4. Discount scope
4.1 The 10% discount applies only to items shown and selected in Menuva at the time of ordering at a participating venue.
4.2 The discount applies to bundles, meal deals, or combo items if they are displayed in Menuva.
4.3 The discount does not apply to:
- service charges, tips, or gratuities
- items not selected within Menuva
4.4 The discount cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any alternative.
4.5 Unlimited redemptions are permitted during the Promotion Period, subject to venue opening hours, stock availability, and fair use as reasonably determined by the venue.
5. How to redeem
To redeem the discount, you must, at the point of payment at a participating venue, present Menuva on your device in one of the following ways:
- by displaying the Menuva order summary screen for the items being purchased, or
- by displaying the Menuva screen showing the relevant venue and the item(s) for which the discount is being applied.
5.1 If you are temporarily unable to present Menuva on your device due to a genuine technical issue (for example, battery failure or app crash), the venue may, at its sole discretion, honor the discount where staff can reasonably verify that Menuva was used. Venues are under no obligation to apply the discount in such circumstances.
5.2 Redemption is subject to operational feasibility. If a venue's till or POS system cannot apply the discount due to technical or operational constraints, the venue may decline to apply it. Menuva is not responsible for such issues.
6. Venue responsibilities
6.1 Each participating venue is solely responsible for:
- food preparation and handling
- pricing, availability, and portion sizes
- accuracy of allergen, dietary, and ingredient information
- application of the discount at checkout
6.2 Menuva does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of menu data and does not verify allergen or dietary information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Menuva disclaims any responsibility for such information.
7. Allergen and dietary information
7.1 Menuva displays information provided by venues but does not independently verify its accuracy.
7.2 You must confirm allergen and dietary details directly with venue staff before purchasing or consuming any product, particularly if you have food allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements.
7.3 Menuva does not guarantee that any item is free from allergens, cross-contamination, or that it meets any particular dietary restriction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Menuva is not responsible for any reaction or outcome arising from reliance on allergen or dietary information displayed in the app.
8. Early withdrawal or changes
8.1 Menuva and participating venues may amend, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time if reasonably required, including:
- at the request of Eatwise or the University of Warwick
- for operational, technical, commercial, or safety reasons
8.2 If the Promotion is amended, suspended, or withdrawn early, the discount will not apply to orders placed after the relevant change takes effect, even if promotional materials remain visible or have not yet been removed.
9. Liability
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Menuva is not liable for:
- a venue's decision not to apply or honor the discount
- inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date menu or allergen information
- changes to venue opening hours or stock availability
- food quality, safety, or any consequences of purchasing or consuming products
- technical issues with Menuva, customer devices, or venue systems that affect availability or redemption of the Promotion
9.2 Nothing in these terms operates to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
10. Data and privacy
10.1 Menuva does not collect or store payment card information in connection with this Promotion.
10.2 No personal data is required solely to redeem the Promotion, although basic technical information (such as device and usage data) may be processed to operate and improve the app.
10.3 Any analytics or app telemetry is handled in accordance with Menuva's general privacy information, where applicable.
10.4 Venues may process payment or transaction information independently under their own policies and legal obligations. Menuva is not responsible for venue handling of such data.
11. Governing law
These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Promotion.

2. 资格
2.1 本促销活动面向在促销期间内在参与场所购物的所有顾客开放。
2.2 折扣仅在使用 Menuva 点餐时适用,须符合第 5 节中的兑换要求。
3. 促销活动性质
3.1 Menuva 是一个非商业性质的学生试点项目,仅用于教育和无障碍测试目的。
3.2 Menuva 不为本促销活动处理付款;所有付款均由您与参与场所之间直接使用场所自有的支付渠道和系统完成。
3.3 Menuva 不会为本促销活动收集超出运营应用所必需的个人数据(如有),任何此类处理均按照 Menuva 的一般隐私信息进行。
3.4 Menuva 不是食品供应商,不准备、销售或提供任何产品。所有商品均由参与场所独家准备和销售。
4. 折扣范围
4.1 10% 的折扣仅适用于在参与场所点餐时在 Menuva 中展示和选择的商品。
4.2 如果套餐、特价餐或组合商品在 Menuva 中展示,折扣同样适用。
4.3 折扣不适用于:
- 服务费、小费或酬金
- 未在 Menuva 中选择的商品
4.4 折扣不能兑换为现金、信用额度或任何替代品。
4.5 在促销期间内可无限次兑换,但须受场所营业时间、库存供应以及场所合理判定的公平使用限制。
5. 如何兑换
要兑换折扣,您必须在参与场所付款时,以下列方式之一在您的设备上出示 Menuva:
- 显示 Menuva 中正在购买商品的订单摘要屏幕,或
- 显示 Menuva 中显示相关场所及要享受折扣的商品的屏幕。
5.1 如果您因真正的技术问题(例如电池耗尽或应用崩溃)暂时无法在设备上出示 Menuva,场所可自行决定在工作人员能够合理验证您使用了 Menuva 的情况下给予折扣。场所没有义务在此类情况下提供折扣。

6. 场所责任

6.2 Menuva 不保证菜单数据的准确性或完整性,也不验证过敏原或饮食信息。在法律允许的最大范围内,Menuva 不对此类信息承担任何责任。
7. 过敏原和饮食信息
7.1 Menuva 展示场所提供的信息,但不独立验证其准确性。
7.2 您必须在购买或食用任何产品之前直接向场所工作人员确认过敏原和饮食详情,特别是如果您有食物过敏、不耐受或特殊饮食要求。
7.3 Menuva 不保证任何商品不含过敏原、无交叉污染,或符合任何特定的饮食限制。在法律允许的最大范围内,Menuva 不对因依赖应用中展示的过敏原或饮食信息而产生的任何反应或后果负责。
8. 提前撤回或变更
8.1 Menuva 和参与场所可在合理需要时随时修改、暂停或撤回本促销活动,包括:
- 应 Eatwise 或华威大学的要求
- 出于运营、技术、商业或安全原因
8.2 如果本促销活动被修改、暂停或提前撤回,折扣将不适用于相关变更生效后下的订单,即使促销材料仍然可见或尚未被移除。
9. 责任
9.1 在适用法律允许的最大范围内,Menuva 不对以下情况承担责任:
- 场所决定不提供或不兑现折扣
- 不准确、不完整或过时的菜单或过敏原信息
- 场所营业时间或库存供应的变化
- 食品质量、安全或购买或食用产品的任何后果
- Menuva、客户设备或场所系统的技术问题影响促销活动的可用性或兑换
9.2 这些条款中的任何内容均不排除或限制在适用法律下不能排除或限制的任何责任,包括因疏忽造成的死亡或人身伤害或欺诈的责任。
10. 数据和隐私
10.1 Menuva 不会收集或存储与本促销活动相关的支付卡信息。
10.2 仅为兑换本促销活动不需要个人数据,但可能会处理基本技术信息(如设备和使用数据)以运营和改进应用。
10.3 任何分析或应用遥测数据均按照 Menuva 的一般隐私信息处理(如适用)。

11. 适用法律
这些条款以及因其产生的或与其相关的任何非合同义务,受英格兰和威尔士法律管辖。英格兰和威尔士法院对因这些条款或本促销活动产生的或与之相关的任何争议具有非专属管辖权。
