Menuva is a student-led project at the University of Warwick with no revenue and no commercial activity. It is free for restaurants today and will stay free.

More diners discovering you

~2,000 active Warwick diners already use Menuva, with new users every week. 83% of diners research menus before visiting a restaurant, so being listed means your menu lands in front of them at the exact moment they are deciding where to eat.

Higher bookings and basket sizes

Venues with visible menus online see approximately 10% higher bookings. Menus with photos, descriptions, and allergen data consistently raise average order value, because diners arrive knowing what they want and feel confident ordering extras like sides, drinks, and desserts.

International and restricted-diet diners

Menus are auto-translated into Chinese, with more languages planned. Prices show in 150+ currencies. All 14 UK regulated allergens and dietary preferences are fully filterable, so international students and diners with restrictions can eat with you instead of walking past.

A free public link you can share

Every venue gets a page at menuva.co.uk/menus. Share it on Instagram, WhatsApp, or Google Maps, print it on flyers, or use it as your table QR. Diners do not need the app to view it.

Instant menu changes

Update a price, mark an item out of stock, or add a seasonal special. Diners see the change within seconds. No reprinting, no waiting.

Analytics (coming soon)

In-portal analytics are launching soon. In the meantime, email hello@menuva.co.uk any time for a report covering views, engagement, filter usage, and top items.

Our team will assist new venues in onboarding their menu to remove the initial admin burden. Afterwards, onboarding is as easy as editing your menu in the admin portal whenever things change.

Please send your menu(s) to hello@menuva.co.uk. We accept a wide range of file formats with no strict restriction. Images, PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, photos of printed menus, or links to your existing menu are all fine. Send whatever you already have. This helps us understand real-world inputs and automate onboarding for future venues.

Images. Any aspect ratio is accepted. The menu renders best with a widescreen header image (advertising graphic or a photo of the venue) and square item images (one per dish). If your aspect ratios differ, our team will resize them for you.

Customizations. Sides, add-ons, size variations, or any modifiers. For each customization group, include the option names, option prices, minimum and maximum quantities allowed, and whether the group is required or optional.

Nutritional information. Per-serving values for energy (kJ and kcal), fat, saturates, carbohydrate, sugars, fibre, protein, and salt.

If you are nominating your venue

Email hello@menuva.co.uk with the following.

  • Venue name
  • Full address
  • Opening hours
  • Relevant links (website, Instagram, existing menu, Google Maps)
  • Proof of authority (business registration, Companies House listing, or a link showing your role on the venue's channels)

We review applications weekly. Once approved, pick either option below.

Visit admin.menuva.co.uk and sign in with Google or any email address (passwordless). The portal walks you through venue, hours, location, and items. Every change appears to diners instantly.

First-time access. Before your first sign-in is approved, email hello@menuva.co.uk from the same address you used to sign in so we can verify your identity. Our team approves access as soon as possible.
